Desenhos com vida, corpo e textura

Depois de me conhecerem através dos desenhos, projectados em tamanho grande na parede, foi tempo de folhearem alguns dos cadernos que levei comigo. Expliquei-lhes que os desenhos têm vida, corpo e textura, muito diferentes de uma fotografia. Disse-lhes para sentirem isso passando com as suas mãos pelas duplas páginas, percebendo a ondulação das folhas, vincadas pela caneta BIC e amassadas por lápis de cor aguareláveis. A sensação de partilha é das coisas melhores que podemos experimentar.

After meeting me through drawings, projected in large size on the wall, it was time to flip some of the sketchbooks I took with me. I explained to them that the drawings have life, body and texture, very different from a photograph. I told them to feel that going with their hands through the double pages, realizing the ripple of the sheets, creased by my BIC pen and crushed by watercoloured pencils. The sense of sharing is one of the best things we can experience.
